Our base camp is our boat for 6 days and gives us the opportunity to go where nobody else can. An unmissable experience for anyone who enjoys ski touring and the wonders of unspoilt nature.
The Lyngen alps are famous for sharp peaks, and steep couloir offering possibilities and options for a wide range of skiers.
Most of the trips offer 700 - 1000 meters of altitude and descents, and the skiing most often ends down on the beach.
Many of the most spectacular places are accessible only by boat. This is why we sail.
During these 6 days we will explore and reach many of the most beautiful mountains between Tromso and Alta the Finnmark's main village, with spectacular scenery, including the northern lights.
The trip starts in Tromso and end in Alta.
The skiing we plan together with the ski guide, adjusted to the group as well as weather and conditions.
After skiing, we sail in to the next mountain for the next day. This is an active trip where the outdoor experiences are in focus; either behind the wheel of the boat or on the mountain with skis.
On this trip we have with us a ski guide onboard for the whole trip, a skipper and a a Star Chef, for a unique and local culinary experience.
The guide is with us also as teacher and coach, and makes it possible for us to attempt some more challenging skiing and summits.
Our Boat
Valiente is 21 meter steel boat recently builted in 2010 fully equiped with 5 confortable double cabine fitted each with bathroom.
The square is over the deck offering stauning view on the sea and the mountain while eating.
The boat is fitted with a strong water maker, 2 big water tank of each 2300 liters, a powerfull engine of 200 ch, etc.
